Holyrood Palace Visit: Mary Queen of Scots
 






“It was really fun and we didn't just learn what we already knew, we learnt new things I didn’t know Lord Darnley had stabbed Rizzo.” Blessing

 "I loved seeing the throne room because it was interesting as most of it was red and one of the paintings looked like Captain Hook!!!!" Blessing
 
"It was funny how the king's throne had to have a really big pillow on the seat, so he could look taller than the queen and more important!" Jenny

"I found the slice marks on the portraits interesting because you wouldn't think that soldiers would come in and slice the paintings of important people." Egan


“ It was really interesting and I was really fascinated by all of the exhibits because I have never seen things like this in a palace before.” Paolo
"I enjoyed looking at the pictures in the gallery because they were interesting as all of the Stuart portrait's had a large nose.... except for Mary Queen of Scots" Gigi



 

“I think it was really cool when we went up to Mary Queen of Scots chambers because it made it look like there were blood stains on the floor.” Nevan
